Romania’s Health Care System is in trouble. With just 4% of its GDP dedicated to health, infant mortality rate is the highest in European Union. Romanian doctors are fleeing as a result of their miserable salaries.

In 5 years, 15,000 have fled the country, exacerbating an already desperate situation. A report from Ilioné Schultz and Fanny Bouteiller for Arte on the eve of the presidential election the 2nd November 2016.
