ELAN INITIATIVE

The ELAN-Africa initiative aims at preventing early school dropouts and at improving the quality of teaching in French-speaking countries. The initiative promotes a bilingual curriculum at primary school level, teaching both African and French languages. 12 countries are taking part to the initiative.
